Uniform Distribution 20/21


The uniform processes and procedures will look different this year. These changes are in service of our dedication to create a SAFE environment. Please see the outlined changes below for uniforms. Please email KeystoneEmpCenter@vailresorts.com if you have additional questions.

 

DISTRIBUTION

For SIS and returning employees:

 

o   Department Managers/Supervisors will need to send lists of new and returning employees, including employee ID and anticipated start date, to the Employee Center/Uniform Staff at least 72 hours prior to start dates.  To do this, please email Keystoneempcenter@gmail.com.

o   Uniform Staff will schedule a time and date for Department Managers to pick up requested uniforms in bulk or deliver them to their desired distribution locations.

 

UNIFORM EXCHANGES & DROP OFF
·       For uniform drop-off, utilize boxes located outside of the Employee Center.

·       For uniform exchanges, employees must schedule an appointment through their manager. Managers can email KeystoneEmpCenter@vailresorts.com.

 

 

SIZING EMPLOYEES FOR UNIFORMS 

 

1)     Managers, Supervisors, or authorized delegates will utilize provided measure tapes (to be provided) to collect NEW Employee measurements and enter requested uniform sizes on the Google Sheet links provided above 

 

2)     If requested, a size run of uniforms can be temporarily provided to a department for new employee sizing, however this is not the preferred method

 

3)     Employee should use hand sanitizer before trying on each garment or Helmet.  Hand sanitizer needs to be provided by each department for their own sizing.  If employees must come to the Employee Center/Uniform Department, hand sanitizer will be available.

 

4)     Provide employees or departments with garment sizing and information sheet for initial fit considerations. See Appendix A: Manufacturer Sizing Guide. 

 

SIZING EMPLOYEES FOR HELMETS

1)     When possible, verify size need with employee without trying on demo helmets.

 

2)     Utilize a disposable measuring tape to measure employee head size and refer back to manufacturer guidelines for fit. See Appendix A: Manufacturer Sizing Guide 

 

4)     Helmet information should be entered on to the Uniform Request Google Sheet or within the Returning Employee Email Request.

 

HELMET RETURNS

 1) Helmets will not be accepted for return after 24 hours of issuance and must have all original tags and packaging in place.

 

CLEANING YOUR UNIFORM

To support our pandemic response approach, the Employee Center will no longer be laundering uniforms for employees in the same manner as we have in the past. Special detergent can be picked up from the Employee Center upon request. Managers should email KeystoneEmpCenter@vailresorts.com for detergent requests.
