Our Mission:

At Vail Resorts, our mission is simple — to create the Experience of a Lifetime for our employees, so they can in turn, provide the Experience of a Lifetime for our guests. Vail Resorts is dedicated to delivering extraordinary guest experiences by continuously investing in our team and the infrastructure, systems and training programs that support the employee experience.

During the interview process, be prepared to immerse yourself in the experience and open up so we can get to know each other. We are as passionate about the mountains as you are. Prepare to share your enthusiasm with us. As for the dress code, look sharp and put your best foot forward, but leave your suit and tie at home. Arrive ready for adventure in our professional casual setting.  And if you have any questions, contact our recruitment team.

Shortly after you apply – no matter the season – we’ll call or e-mail to schedule a phone interview. During that initial interview, we’ll start to identify the best roles to match your passions with our needs for the season. If you have already applied for one or more positions, and then apply for additional jobs, we may not email or call you for that initial phone interview. You’ll already be in our queue.

Vail Resorts offers a limited number of international employment opportunities per year, mostly in seasonal roles (some entry level and some skilled). Each year we hire hundreds of J1 Student Visas, which enable people from around the world to experience living and working at a mountain resort in another country. Most of the students accepted on J1 Visas partner with http://www.ccusa.com and and attend job fairs in their home country, where they can meet our hiring managers and sometimes receive a job offer on the spot. We would recommend this avenue for all new J1 Students. Are you a student who has previously worked for us and wants to return for another season? Work with your previous manager to see how you can start your next adventure with us.
